After Your Tattoo
2 to 6 hours after your tattoo
Remove bandage
Gently remove the bandage after 2 to 6 hours (according to your tattoo artist's instructions).
Cleaning
Wash your tattoo with lukewarm water and mild soap (pH neutral), then pat dry with paper towel.
Re-bandage (optional)
You can leave it exposed to air or apply a new clean bandage for the night.
For 15 days
Apply a thin layer of healing cream 2 to 3 times a day after cleaning and drying the tattoo.
Recommended creams:
- Bepanthen (fragrance-free)
- Homeoplasmine
- Eucerin (fragrance-free)
- Cicaplast B5 La Roche Posay
Avoid fragranced or overly greasy creams.
Absolutely avoid
Water immersion
No baths, pools, sea, spa, or jacuzzi for at least 3 weeks.
Sauna / Steam room
Avoid excessive heat and prolonged sweating during healing.
Sun exposure
Protect your tattoo from direct sunlight for at least 1 month. Use a total sunscreen (SPF 50+) after healing.
Shaving
Do not shave the tattooed area during complete healing.
Scratching
Never scratch! If scabs or flaking appear, let them fall off naturally.
After Healing
Touch-ups
Touch-ups are free within 3 months of the session.
After 3 months: €40 touch-up fee.
Hydration
Continue to moisturize your tattoo regularly to preserve its colors and quality.
Sun protection
Always apply a total sunscreen (SPF 50+) before any sun exposure to prevent fading.
